When did you get started with fitness?

I have been fascinated with bodybuilding since I can remember! My father was a bodybuilder, who was friends with many top bodybuilders. He had me in the gym and reading books by Arnold Schwarzenegger at a very young age. But at the time I just wanted to be a very lean martial artist. I later integrated these two art forms and it sparked a fire in my career.

What drives you to be so fit?

When ever I take time and listen to myself I know that I am on the right path and that the best things are yet to come. The mind and body want to be better then they ever have before, and I want to give them this opportunity.

What has been the hardest obstacle for you to overcome?

My life journey, although short, has included many obstacles. In my early years, I lived life “in the fast lane” and made some bad decisions. Many lessons I learned the hard way. While struggling with my fast-paced lifestyle, I was faced with a life-threatening illness that profoundly influenced my thoughts on life and the path I would take next.

If you could start back from the first day you started training would you do anything different?

Put my ego aside more often, as I would have learned far fewer lessons the hard way.

Is there anyone in the fitness industry you look up to?

I am motivated by all the incredible things my fitness friends and peers are doing in the industry. In addition, seeing my online clients break into the industry is very motivating.
